Compared with luxuries like CUCCI or PRADA, nowadays people began to favor those handmade artworks. In the south-easten part of China, there’s a minority called Miao which is famous for its intricate design of embroidery. As the Miao do not have their own written system, the embroidery has become an important way to record and relive their history. This time our host, Hua Lei, will show us a special place boasting this precious culture. Located on Ju Lu Road, “brocade country†looks more like a Miao-minority museum than a boutique.
